gas
dryers...
 |
Pinnacle offers its customers
a unique protective design that guards against climatic
conditions that can disable less sophisticated equipment or
technologies. Under certain gas temperatures and/or
humidity levels, most other CNG fueling equipment that does not
properly dry the fuel will allow ice crystals to form in the
fuel. This can restrict flow in the fuel regulator leading
to stalling or prevention of engine start-up. |
Pinnacle's innovative technology employs a
two-column deliquescent dryer that eliminates water vapor present in
most gas to a minimum of the SAE J1616 moisture content standard.
This process provides additional protection for customer fleets and
vehicles that operate in marginal or extreme environments.
Inspection and maintenance of these critical dryers are outlined in
the routine maintenance schedule for each station and if additional
desiccant drying agent is required, tablets can be easily added by
one person in less than five minutes.
Our dryer is also one of the most
cost-efficient in the industry. Our equipment costs less and
it operates at a lower cost than a molecular sieve dryer.

vehicle data management...
Pinnacle PVT dispensers also
offer a comprehensive fleet data management and security system
option at no additional cost. The system is built around a
small Vehicle Data Module (VDM) that is installed on each fleet or
other vehicle authorized for station access.
When the PVT dispenser hose is
attached to a VDM-enabled vehicle, the station's computer monitor
promptly checks to verify that the vehicle is an authorized user.
When quickly approved, fuel is dispensed into the vehicle while
critical vehicle operating data is downloaded and recorded by the
station computer monitor. VDM data can include vehicle number;
time, date, amount, and location of fueling, and engine-on hours
since the last fill-up at a Pinnacle PVT/VDM dispenser. The
VDM can even provide separate reports for engine hours on CNG
or gasoline/diesel for bi-fuel vehicles.
The Pinnacle PVT and VDM systems
have also proven to be a very effective and cost-efficient security
feature in preventing unauthorized use of the enable station.
In addition, the VDM has a significant safety feature for fleet
operators that can prevent a vehicle from being started if the
dispenser hose is connected to the vehicle.
metered
time-fill dispensers...
 |
Pinnacle's same
dispenser technology is adaptable to provide automated,
tamper-proof measurements of fuel dispensed by time-fill.
Pinnacle can provide installation of time-fill posts using this
technology, providing complete fleet data management reports for
both slow fill as well as fast fill dispensing. |
PVT dispensers...
Pinnacle offers a unique patented dispenser option that is designed
to maximize fill-up efficiency resulting in "fuller" fill-ups and
greater vehicle range.
Pinnacle's
patented process monitors gas temperature as it enters the vehicle
fuel tank, automatically adjusting fill pressure to achieve maximum
capacity. Fuel systems of the past fail to adjust for heat that
develops inside the tank as the gas is compressed during full-ups.
This failure by other systems results in a tank reading "full" but
then showing less than full as the gas promptly cools inside the
tank.
Pinnacle's patented PVT dispenser
compensates for temperature build-up during fill-ups thus providing
more fuel at each fill-up resulting in greater vehicle driving
ranges between fuel stops.
